Mender App is here to help you.

A: Everyone is required to create an account. After creating the account, choose a service needed from the category, then choose an available provider from the list or map. Users can see the provider’s profile, qualifications, licenses, photos, reviews, etc. When the provider is selected, there will be an option to Hire Now or Schedule. Once the provider accepts the request, there will be an available chat so users and providers can discuss the job requirements, tools needed, estimate time, etc. Upon the user and provider’s agreement, the provider will be on the way to the job site. Users can track the driving progress of providers on the map. When the provider arrives at the destination, either the user or the provider can start working using the Check-in button. The job can be paused/resumed, or completed by using the swipe to complete button.
A: Users can find services for almost all of their needs, from a house or office cleaning services, pet care to specialized services like plumbing and electrical. Users can find experienced and reliable professionals for the job.
A: Yes, users can schedule future dates for services.
A: After deciding on a service provider, click on their profile, and Mender App will connect you with the provider to discuss the job details and agree on the service date.
A: Service providers have an hourly rate for each service. You will see their rates upon checking their profile before you choose the right one for you.
A: Providers are paid after the service is completed and confirmed by the client. The amount is based on the number of hours spent to provide the service and then charged to your credit card.
A: Stripe places a hold on a card to reserve funds now but only capture them after your business completes the service. For example, a hotel may authorize payment in full before a guest’s arrival, then move the money when the guest checks out.
A: No. Service providers are responsible for bringing the tools needed to complete the job. If specific tools are required, you should discuss this with the service provider before scheduling the service.
A: Yes, but it is optional. Mender App providers can order free background to allow providers to have a passed background check badge.
A: Certain services require that the service provider be insured.
A: You can tip the provider if you wish, but it is not required.
A: Don’t hesitate to contact Mender App’s customer service to express any service concerns and discuss remediation and provide feedback.
A: Yes. Pause the clock at the end of the workday and resume the job the next day until the job gets completed.
A: Yes. After you decide on the service you need, a list of service providers will be available for you to choose from.
A: Yes, based on the service provider’s availability (i.e., if the provider is available on the “available list” or showing as “available” on the Mender App map.
